Georgia Takeover Of SEC Network

I used to LOVE these when they first came out, such a great idea during the dog days of summer. I guess nothing is immune to "inclusion" though so we had to throw a bunch of filler in there nobody is ever going to watch. Sad. Here is the lineup:

12am: 2022 football vs Tenn
3am: Gday spring game
5am: SEC Storied doc on fran tarkenton
6am: 2022 womens bball vs UF
730am: Womens soccer vs Tenn
930am: Womens volleyball vs UF
1130am: 2022 Peach bowl vs OSU
230pm: Womens tennis championship
5pm: Womens softball vs VT
7pm: Mens bball vs UK
9pm: 2022 NCG vs TCU

This would make more a lot more annoyed if there wasn't the proliferation of youtube streamers. You can find ALMOST any good game worth watching on youtube so it makes these lame dud programming events kind of meh anyway.

Man that’s disappointing. Used to love when they’d play old baseball and football games. I’d watch ESPN in general a lot more if they’d just scrap the rabble of half assed talk shows and instead play ESPN Classic style games in-between live sports and Sportscenter. Love what SEC Network had been doing playing random games like the 05 SECCG. I can rewatch the past 5 seasons on YouTube, give me the games I’d forgotten about or haven’t seen in a long time.

exactly this. I think if SECN jsut showed great clasic games (all teams) from like 1992-2010 they'd get a lot more eyeballs.

It’s bananas tho. It’s literally just that game. You can find any other one. It’s like they don’t want people to really see much TCU didn’t belong there.
