Stanford who is stuck in a depleted Pac 10, won the Directors Cup but its football program may not be good enough for a B1G invite.

Ohio State finished 3rd in the Cup and has an iconic football program and makes more money than any other athletic Department.

The only reason Arkansas is not in Stanford's position is it had a solid football program at one time.

OP says this in the brag thread he started about their high ranking in a competition that heavily favors schools with a high volume of competent non-football programs.

The directors cup is not a reflection of overall excellence. It is a nod to schools that field the most varsity sports. Nothing more.
