Uh, yeah

I guess you're young... and the world has become a lot more homologous. Places used to be a lot more individualized.

Miss State: rednecks named Bubba, in trailer parks.
LSU: drunken coonasses (Cajuns) from the bayou, that will cook and eat anything they can pull into their bateaux.
Ole Miss: arrogant, somewhat effete snobs named Tad who drink with their pinkies extended.
Tulane: Smug upper-class folks who trace their lineage back 10 generations in Nola, belong to exclusive Krewes. and look down on the rest of the state.

Feel free to add in any other stereotypes, such as Tennessee hillbillies, Arkansas hillbillies etc. This goes back before Florida became "bunch of Yankee guidos from Jersey"... at least I assume it does.
