In order, for backups in case above goes wrong:
Dallas (obviously great, left out bc further west than Houston)
Birmingham
Shreveport
Memphis (not sure if U Memphis would allow it as I don't think there's another stadium there)
Little Rock
Mobile (not sure if USA would allow it as I don't think there's another stadium there)
Jackson (looked like an absolute dump plus Jackson States stadium)
ok...I admit it... I fell for the sarcasm OP

Wow. This hasn't been discussed in at least a week! Great catch!

You got a better list of backups in the deep South?
No. Which is why it will stay in Atlanta. Give it another week and you can repost to see if anything has changed.

No thanks. I value my life over a football game.
Is Atlanta really that much safer than New Orleans? The demographics would say otherwise.

Shreveport is a better option than Jackson, Mobile, and Little Rock. Shreveport has the casinos downtown. Nothing special, but those other cities above have nothing.

I'm not saying UGA won the last 1 because of location at all. They were the better team. UGA isn't remotely close to a Bama dynasty. All that, location is always an advantage. Fan travel, less team travel, less hotels. To ignore that is to be a bigot. Location is as "reality" as it gets.
My team beat y'all by like 50 points each time the 2 prior times to last we met in the SEC championship game. Destroyed UGA where they just quit.
To say "deflect all blame" when I feel UGA actually has a losing record in the SEC championship is being a bigot.
To be fair, every team in the SEC should have the CG played within 250 miles of their town. Exluding Missou, they're too far out.

UGA shouldn't have any championship game played in Atlanta until other teams have caught up to them in terms of games played near their town. How many years has Atlanta had SEC CG? 30? This means that those other 3 cities (Nashville, New Orleans, Houston) deserve 30 games to catch up to Atlanta. This means Atlanta (TO BE 100% FAIR AS POSSIBLE) should not have another SEC championship game for 90 years. It should be year 2113 before Atlanta gets another one to be absolutely 100% fair as possible.

Houston Nashville & Dallas are Boston compared to Atlanta. In terms of entertainment/fun New Orleans is Hollywood/Boston compared to Atlanta.
Atlanta has nothing going for it. Nothing entertaining or nice.

Dumbass, you said my backup cities are terrible. I said obviously, they're reserves, anything you got better? "no, Which is why it'll stay in Atlanta." I obviously listed the "starting" cities of Houston, Nashville, New Orleans. You're trying to twist my last comment and say Atlanta is better than those reserve cities, it's gonna stay in Atlanta and neglect what this whole post is about, Nola, Hou, Nashville, and potentially Dallas.
Those 3 cities (and Dallas) imo are much preferred by general SEC folks than Atlanta. New Orleans and Nashville is much more entertaining/fun. Houston/Dallas is nicer than Atlanta. Atlanta doesn't have anything going for it besides sheer size which it still lacks to Houston and Dallas in.
Now that the SEC has added UT and OU, there are many more people in the SEC West than SEC East, not counting south florida as it's not in the territory.
The SEC should move the games, and it's office to somewhere more centrally population located. Bama for HQ and Atlanta for CG are outside the population center. It's highly likely the new population center is somewhere around Shreveport I'd bet.

OP has no idea what the word bigot means.

If you bring it to Dallas you might as well bring it to St. Louis, and then Kansas City…
Texas is going to whine constantly about having to go to Atlanta for the SECCG. But the SEC shouldn’t budge. Keep it in Georgia

No reason to move it and there's not really better options when all things are considered.

I gave you an upvote. That's the best rotation among 4 cities you could ask for in the SEC. Some would argue DFW over Houston, although I wouldn't mind either one.
NOLA, ATL, and Nash are all great cities with their own unique culture and nightlife. And plenty of great food.
