But he’s only making the point because his team didn’t get in.

No he's making a point because going forward with SEC schedules really good SEC teams are going to be left out. That goes not just for Bama but everyone.

Three teams is the most from one conference that's gonna be in most years. Maybe four every now and then. They were never gonna agree to let half the teams be SEC teams. Just the way it is.

But there were very good arguments for TCU over Bama and Ohio State over Bama last year. TCU and Bama had a common opponent. TCU beat every team they played going into the playoff and Bama had shown it could struggle against teams in TCU's conference.

And he would not be saying a thing about this if Alabama were in and Tennessee or Georgia or LSU or whoever had been left out with two close losses playing an SEC schedule. This is not about protecting the conference.

No, it’s just like when he bitched about the up tempo offenses when he lost to teams employing it. Said it was bad for the players and would cause injuries. Apparently that “sincere” concern for player safety didn’t stop him from going up tempo did it? It’s who he is, he can’t help it. He can’t handle losing and will whine about it because it just eats at him.
