Does OSU stop recruiting 5* WRs because they signed multiple 5* WRs ahead of them…?

NIL spending is just the CFB equivalent of a teams payroll in MLB. The Athletics are never going to be able to consistently compete with the Yankees because they can’t sign top free agents just like Washington State is never going to be able to keep up with Ohio State or Alabama because they can’t compete in NIL.

I’d argue CFB is far more unbalanced than the NFL which is at least regulated via a salary cap.

It’s making for a very boring sport unless you are one of the 5-7 teams who it benefits.

OSU has never signed 6 top 100 receivers in a class. They signed an entire 2 deep of top 100 DL in a class.

I'm not sure OSU has ever signed more than 6 top 100 receivers in 2 classes combined.

A&M didn’t stop recruiting them either. Jimbo went 5-7 with a horrible passing game so they stopped signing.
