Listen Tony, we know Mizzou holds a special place in your heart as an alumni What do you say?!

TV: I’m open, what will you pay?

MIZ: listen. We’ve spoken to boosters and we are going to double our commitment to baseball coaching salaries! So now you’ll only need to take a 40% pay cut to come home! But before you decide we just set our attendance record for the year! That’s right, we had almost half as many fans as Tennessee did this season, AND we have no plans to relocate our stadium even though we built it on the windiest hill in the state! What do you say?!

Yeah, he makes 1.5 million where he is and your fired coach made $475,000.

I doubt you put up that kind of money.

Plus he seems to blend in well where he is.

So from this I gather you're super pleased with your AD?

This is why the Bieser firing made zero sense to me. It would be hard for Mizzou to care less about baseball than they currently do. Zero investment in facilities, zero fan support, zero investment in coaching/staff.

Biesler went 20-3 in the non-conference this year. He swept all of our rivals: KU, Illinois, and Missouri State. He beat Texas, TCU, and Tennessee. Of course the conference record was not good, but what the hell do we expect?

If you ever visit Columbia/Mizzou, you'll see a nice basketball arena with world-class training facilities, a decent football stadium with world class (and still improving) training facilities, an attractive, new softball stadium, a pretty campus, and a fun little downtown nestled up against the campus. Then you might wonder, "hmm where is the baseball stadium?" And you will be directed across a busy intersection, away from every single other facility on or near the campus, just north of a nuclear reactor, to the top of a windswept hill. And there you will find a children's playground with a few bleachers.

And Mizzou apparently thinks someone is going to consistently win in the SEC with this level of investment in baseball.
