Arkansas - 98
Vanderbilt - 91
Tennessee - 87
Florida - 85
LSU - 81
Really surprised to see Tennessee that high.
Also surprising to see Ole Miss and MSU not in the top 5.
It's crazy to think that Dave Van Horn is averaging 20 SEC wins per year the past 6 years.

It's crazy to think that Dave Van Horn has been at Arkansas over 20 years with zero national championships.

only one of those teams has a NC during that time frame..
perhaps the regular season just isn’t that important.. perhaps it means that you peaked at the wrong time?

Maybe
It is crazy. Considering he consistently owns the rest of the conference. Which also happens to be the toughest conference in the nation.
If he keeps knocking on the door, he will eventually get one. Or maybe not. But Arkansas contends for it every single year. Can't say the same for LSU.
Maybe the "most talented team in history" can get it done.

So he’s the Mark Richt of SEC baseball

LSU alum Mike Bianco > Dave Van Horn

Hard to believe Arkansas hasn't yet won the CWS. It'll happen sometime, I'm sure (that one dropped ball memory has got to go!).

I don't think this word means what you think it means.

I don't know if he ever will, I could see him retiring without winning one and his successor winning it all within a year or two.
That just seems to be how it usually works out.

What do you think it means? I think it means exactly what I wanted it to say.

You want your team to “peak” in Omaha.. not in the regular season.. not that complicated

Look at the Baseball program before he landed in Fayetteville back in 2003.
The 90s was some tough years for Arkansas.

The similarities are accurate. Arkansas baseball was shitty in the 90s, Georgia football was shitty in the 90s.
Both elevated said programs to much higher levels.
Richt couldn't get over the hump and DVH will never do so.

Yeah but hes competitive every year. Unlike some teams that take long stretches off. Or others that are good one year then cant make hoover

Really? 2020 was the best top to bottom team they have had. 2021 they won 20, 2022 25, 23 was a down year with 16.

DVH will never win one. I just believe it was never meant to be.

Which is the better "feather in the hat"; regular season or tournament champ?

Are you referring to programs who have done what Arkansas still hasn’t
