You obviously haven’t been on the Rant. Many are melting…Many.

While LSU is still a lock for a national seed, losing its first series of the year has many very worried - if not hitting the panic button - about our pitching moving into the postseason.

I’m not in that group. LSU has the best pitcher in America and one of the best offenses in America… LSU gonna be fine in the postseason depending on the Super matchups and Omaha matchups. Nonetheless, back to Auburn-LSU series, it was definitely a really good series win for Auburn. Didn’t really change much of anything for LSU except causing some fans to melt because of the championship or bust mentality.

You are right about the best pitcher part. But that’s 1 man. You will need 3 starters at least for the regionals and supers and your bullpen has no depth. While your offense is very good, great pitching will slow it down. Just look how many runs and walks you have given up in your losses. You have given up double digits runs many times and have walked almost 50 batters in the 7 losses you have. Offense will only carry you so far, but the pitching has to be able to keep the other team from scoring also.
