A&M is a solid university with a respected Business school and a borderline elite Engineering school. It has a passionate alumni base that helps with career opportunities and networking.

A&M has a strange and disturbing culture that it chooses to look at as endearing. They do nothing in any sport that matters because the school is an uncomfortable (and often hostile) place to be for minorities. The kids who end up there (in the past) have settled or are now toughing it out for the pay day.

TAMU is a good school, mostly. The craziness and bizarre behavior is mostly associated with the ROTC department.

Education and alumni connections are very strong.

Business and Engineering grads are doing great.

Top rated Vet School that is nearly impossible to get in.

The School of Architecture has a Viz Lab that is highly respected by animation studios. Pixar and others recruit a lot from A&M.

You have some outdated views on the culture. Minorities have a better time at A&M than the racist frat culture that Texas promotes.

Say what?

A&M players in the NFL earn more than those at any other Texas school

Not true.

I am a minority, who studied for his masters at Texas A&M and can tell you I was treated no different at my time in CS not have any of my peers been treated differently

There is a Mosque on campus (I’ve eaten Iftar with many students mind you), our student bodies are very strong- we are Aggies no matter where we come from. We have a sense of community here in pride for our school, and we connect not as different people but together as Aggies

So please, stop talking out of your fricking arse

You’re such an ignorant bastard. A&M has always been more accepting of minorities than Texas. It’s just not a gay liberal socialist indoctrination like tu.
