Top-two transfer portal target Hailey Van Lith is in BR for an official visit. Van Lith scored almost 20 ppg at Louisville this past season, leading the Cardinals to the Elite 8. Would be a huge pickup for the defending national champions.

Maybe mulkey can improve her game. She is good against acc teams but we shut her down in the ff last year.

HVL has been good against more than ACC teams. She was a regional MVP as a sophomore and brought Louisville to the Elite 8 as a junior. Scored 27 points against national runner-up Iowa.

Remind me who Iowa beat to advance to the championship against champ LSU. I can't remember.

Has nothing to do with my statement. She was great offensively against lower ranked defensive teams but when she played against great defense she wilted. My comment was maybe Mulkey can help her improve.

HVL game log

Here's her game log, you want to tell me what great defense she "wilted" against. She scored 26, 21, 21 and 27 in the NCAA tournament. You are coming across as being butthurt about the national champs potentially being even better.

It absolutely does.

Your comment was that she was good against ACC teams but got shut down by SC. As Mulkey pointed out, she was good against teams outside of the AAC too. SC was one team not "teams," a team that lost to Iowa, a team that she played well against. So, no she didn't get shut down by non ACC teams.

Van Leith played all but 22 seconds of Friday’s game and held on for nine points, sinking her lone three-point basket for Louisville’s final point of the season. His first two field-goal attempts were blocked by South Carolina defensive dynamo Bray Beale, whose listed height of 6-foot-1 is six inches higher than Van Lith’s claim.

My comment had absolutely nothing to do with LSU. It has to do with what happened when she played against a tough defense. She was shut down and that's not debatable. I said Mulkey may be able to help her with that. Sorry if my point upset you LSU fans

Not upset at all. LSU won a natty, and it looks like Van Lith will be joining the team. Anyone reading this thread can see it's you who is upset.

I'm not upset at all. I stated that her offense wasn't the same when faced with a strong defense then I stated Mulkey may be able to help her with that. Nothing I said was wrong and even insinuated that LSU coach may be the one that can improve her game. LSU fans should understand not everyone is out to get them. Don't be so insecure.

If she goes to LSU then great for your program. If I had to choose between her and Morrow, out of DePaul, I would pick Morrow all day long. Not the same positions I understand.

You’re referring to the final 4 game against SC last season. That’s the ONLY game you’ve probably seen her struggle a little. That was her sophomore season.

What you fail to realize is maybe the game will be just a tad easier for her with the surrounding talent that LSU will have. She won't have to do as much, distribute the ball to the playmakers, score when necessary.

That is the thing her offense is built on more free willing, with a team like LSU she is not going to be able to do that. I'm sure that Mulkey has a game plan if she comes.

we acknowledge we lost lol. We were all in threads congratulating LSU on their title.

I think youre looking to fight and no one is trying to start one. an SC poster mentioned a weakness and said that maybe Mulkey was the one to fix it. How in the heck is that a shot at LSU at all?

and yes Iowa won...the one game we lost all year, a damn important one. That said, if you look at the stats for the year SC is known for defense. It feels like we can judge defense.

This is clearly a lame troll attempt by a butthurt SC fan. Bringing up a game from two years ago, and making a dumb allusion that HVL's success has only come against ACC teams, shows that SOS is still upset about LSU winning the title. HVL is clearly a top-two player in the portal, and she would be a perfect fit for LSU's team next season.

Why did you leave out my first comment that YOUR coach might be able to improve her game... you left it out because it ruined your lie.

Here is another of my comments that you ignored

LSU fans have to be the most insecure, argumentative fan base in history.
