So Tennessee is paying Vitello 1.5MM per year and they are 5-10 in the SEC?

Last I saw we pay Dave 1.3 million a year which is a lot of money, but there’s no threat of him taking another job which isn’t in his favor.
He probably gets other incentives and may forgo raises to pay for his staff, I don’t know. But he’s definitely been money well spent.

And there are State fans out there disappointed that we beat Bama and Ole Miss in back to back series because they are so blood thirsty to fire Lemonis.
They know who they are but they have strangely become quieter in the last two weeks.

He also won the SEC title and tournament championship last year. He had to replace 8 starters this year. I’m willing to give him a couple more years before I start to freak out.
