The state of Georgia is loaded with talent. Absolutely loaded. Obviously the school has the resources to compete for national championships. What gives?

Outside of the 90 cws team and the team that shockingly lost to Fresno St., UGA hasn’t made a whole lot of noise in baseball.

Do they even gaf about it at the school?

In 2008, UGA made it to the CWS final and lost to Fresno St. who was a 4 seed in their regional and 29-27 heading into the postseason.

I don’t know if something that bizarre has happened another time in the college baseball tournament.

It’s not football season, baw. I’m genuinely curious how a school with seemingly everything at its disposal can consistently come up short.

Thought for sure UGA was taking that World Series. Gordon Beckham was a stud.

Because our previous ad and President were cheap bastards who were fine with bringing money in from athletics but not spending it. Hopefully the new ad can find a proven winner for a baseball coach.

Even Gumps could discuss other lesser performing sports at the height of Saban’s dominance.

Georgia fans just blurt out footbawl like morons.

Auburn hasn't been able to compete year in and year out because of scholarships.

Auburn is using 11.7 scholarships for 35 players. Out administration won't waive out of state fees and the academic scholarships now start at around a 28-29 on the ACT with a 3.5 GPA.

Georgia any instate moron can go to school tuition free with a 3.0. This allows them to get pretty much any instate kid that is interested and then spend scholarship dollars on out of state kids or lower qualifiers.

It doesn't make sense why they are so bad.

Not to mention Ga Tech used to be a power but has fallen back now as well. UGA should dominate in recruiting baseball players.

Look at the recruiting rankings every year for high school baseball players, that state pumps them out.

I give a frick. You have no fricks to give because you got run. Whatever. I'm still enjoying it. Hope you do well in baseball, though.

This also applies to Basketball and any other sport you would think we have the resources to compete in yet inexplicable don’t.
