They've already been refuted, but the Bama fans, or the cry-baby ones at least, refuse to admit it. UGA had injuries all year long. Bennett was playing because Daniels got hurt. Bowers and Mitchell, the 2 that caught those 4th quarter TDs only had the playing time they had because Washington and Pickens were hurt. We had many more too. But the injuries never hurt us. We mopped the floor with everyone we played all year. Heck, even when Bama was full strength, they still struggled and nearly lost to LSU, UF and Auburn, all teams that ended up with losing records. Championship teams have depth, adapt and win anyway. The injuries never hurt us.
Our D harrassed the Bama O all night. Young was under pressure, ended up throwing a pick 6, heck, the last play of the game was an easy sack. So, forget the injuries, we both had them and we dominated anyway. That's what championship teams do.
My Bama friend told me he never heard any UGA fans complaining about injuries (even though we had them) after the SECCG. And he said, "So, you're not gonna hear me whining after the NC game...congratulations, UGA was the better team." Now THAT is a mature, man-of-a-Bama fan that I can respect.

Which was a good thing for Georgia.

You don't need to adapt when you have only a couple of starters out with injury. That's about the best possible scenario for a football team.

You didn't hear Georgia fans complaining about injuries after the SECCG since the teams were even in that regard. When the teams were even Bama won convincingly.
