An Arkansas lawmaker has filed a bill to prohibit UAMS from entering into paid sponsorship deals with college athletes.

The medical school has NIL agreements with multiple Razorbacks.

They must be big mad about getting fleeced by Catalon these last two years.

Those “UAMS helped me get back on the field” commercials that kept on airing through the season aged like milk.

It’s an Arkansas State grad that filed it. UAMS has already said the sponsorships don’t come from taxpayer funds. We’ll never hear of this again.

They are a business like any other. State funding is just a portion of their revenue. What they are advertising for is the physicians private practices basically. It should be allowed.
