Missouri sports are a speed bump till baseball, football,etc start.
It's always been an after thought.
Sadly, it will always be that way, people love their pro sports here much, much more.

3 of 12 teams made the sweet 16. Over half the league made the tournament. I believe you greatly overestimate the PAC 12ish.

I guess the TS doesn't realize that the SEC has won more titles in bball than the Big 12.
I guess the TS also doesn't realize that the SEC has more Final Fours than the Big 12.
NCAA titles
B12: 2008, 2021, 2022
SEC: 1998, 2006, 2007, 2012
Final Fours
B12: 02, 03, 03, 04, 08, 12, 16, 18, 21, 22
SEC: 97, 98, 00, 06, 06, 07, 11, 12, 14, 14, 15, 17, 19

Be that as it may, it’s also true after all the hype and having multiple very highly rated teams. Not a single SEC TEAM made the elite eight.

You mean the same PAC 12 that finished last football season with five teams in top 25, three of those being in the top 12? Which, btw, was far better than the Big 12.
