On a serious note, how does Arky's facilities match up with the other SEC schools?

Our facilities are great. Football and baseball recently upgraded.

Bud Walton could use a fix up, which is in the works.

Indoor and outdoor track are best in the nation. Our outdoor track is actually over the top nice.

Really, if you go look at all of our sports, even outside the big three, you’d be amazed at how much money we’ve spent on facilities.

Football - DWRRS is not as large as Ten, LSU, FU, UGA, but recent makeovers make it a very nice stadium. Top half of the league in terms of amenities and aesthetics. The Indoor practice facility, plus the turf and grass outdoor practice fields, along with the Jerry and Jean Jones academic center are incredible.

Basketball - BWA was THE greatest on-campus arena when it opened in 1994. Now, it's ready for its first major renovation in that time. Still an incredible venue to watch a game, and one of the largest on-campus arenas in the nation. And now we also have a basketball practice facility that is as good as any school's anywhere.

Baseball - BWS is one of the elite venues and great places to watch a game. Only a very few schools - all in the SEC - can even attempt to compare (miss st, om, s. car). The Pitching Performance Center, the indoor facility, the stadium itself, the Hog Pen... they make it the premier place to play ball.

Indoor Track - host to SEC, NCAA and World Championships. It's one of the fastest tracks on the planet. The venue is a great place to watch a meet, and it shows really well on television.

Outdoor Track - After all of the recent renovations, including adding grandstands and an office and performance center in the South end, it is just below Oregon's and should start hosting NCAA and World Championships soon. Fayetteville is one of only 2 or 3 places in North America with indoor and outdoor facilities capable of hosting World Championships.

Softball - Bogle Park is a great, smallish venue for softball. Definitely competitive with others in our league.

Soccer - Typical soccer setup.

Gymnastics - Barnhill Arena has been retrofitted to be exclusively gymnastics and volleyball. The Gymbacks will host two meets a year in BWA, which is fun, but it's cool to see Barnhill packed on a Friday night.
