I'd say TCU making the playoff was the opposite of the eye test. The eye test would have shown that their OL and DL couldn't hang with dominant teams and that they were the luckiest team in CFB with half their season or more being won in last minute, come from behind style against a weak schedule (not to mention coming off a loss in their last game). TCU got in because the committee wanted to be "fair" instead of putting the best 4 teams in.

It's a good point. Kansas went 11-6 down the stretch and had 4 blowout losses of 21, 15 ,16 and 20. How medicocre can they be and still be projected as a 1 seed?

You easily won the first two tournament games without Self. You had Self for the 16 point loss in Austin last Saturday and you lost by 20 yesterday in a virtual home game, just take the arse beatings like a man.
