I'm guessing they had some sort of understanding when he dropped them off that Miller would pick them up

To be honest, before all this Miles had been painted as the goofy guy that everyone loved. Jerry Stackhouse even made a kinda weird comment about how he was shocked that Miles was a guy that was involved in something like this. It'll be interesting to see if he gets the exact same charge as Davis (who is royally fricked)

It’s not surprising you would find this odd. You said it was normal that a college football player would secretly record sex with an unknowing female and then show it to friends.
