Because pitching is a full body thing. Your legs and the rest of your body could not handle all that two days apart.

He will have a bigger pitch count than a normal pitcher though, but doing two starting outings in three days is too much on the body.

He would be useful in a tournament situation when you push your pitchers harder by switching arms
