What happens if both wind up in the middle to the bottom of the SEC in their first decade?
It would be like UNC leaving the ACC or Ohio State leaving the B1G

I think Ok or TX will break through one year to the SEC championship, just because there will be no divisions.
It will just come down to the schedule. They could honestly play the schedule below and get to the SEC championship game.
Miss St, Texas A&M, Ok/TX, AR, Ole Miss, Vandy, Missouri, and Kentucky.
Now they would get embarrassed in the SEC championship game, but you get the picture. Heck, you could switch one of those teams out for Auburn -- you get the picture.

OU and Texas recruit as well as anybody in the sec as proven in 2023. When both pulled top 4 classes while still in the big 12

Texas fans are rational. We have sucked at football for 13 years. We know this. Especially with Sark as our coach, we know we are many years away from competing to win the SEC.
