Good game Arky. But let’s dispense with the counting foul shots logic. A&M drives to the basket way more often than other teams, so we draw more fouls than other teams. That’s what happens when your strategy is to drive to the basket instead of shooting outside shots.
So naturally, we will get to the free throw line more often because we are not shooting deep shots where there is no contact…

A&M shot nearly twice as many shots in the paint than Arkansas, and yet shot fewer free throws, despite being a driving team that leads the SEC in getting to the stripe.

A&M is just a bad basketball team.

Have you not watched Arkansas play over the last 2 years? That’s our whole game plan.
Oh and 15 blocks is part of that shortage and let’s be honest. Take away the 10 FT’s we shot on fouls in the final minute and you shot 6 more than us on the road.
