It's gonna be sweet nectar watching the melt when Saban retires and bama goes through the same 30 yr swoon they did after bear retired.

Swoon? They still won like 5 SEC titles 1983-2007.

Not consistently dominant as with Bryant but certainly on par with Georgia and the rest of the SEC besides Florida in the mid 90's. Bama has had so much success the last 100 years that when they aren't absolutely head and shoulders above the rest, opposing fans talk like they are the new Vanderbilt.
