As far as I know, Pruitt had no major violations of NCAA rules prior to UT's dubious scheme to make him their scapegoat and fire him 'for cause' to avoid his buyout. UT and/or it's boosters probably funded the payments delivered by Pruitt (and other staff) to players/parents.

That is the worst part. Their boosters are the ones who funded it yet they got to enjoy last season with penalty and are probably one of the biggest resistance factors in the conference against Pruitt getting this DC job.

It's crazy and we should tell the conference to shove it.

You lost me there.

He was almost certainly guilty and complicit, and didn't he admit as much? I'm sorry I don't fully believe the 400 dollar sack lunch to save a players momma from cancer defense.

That said, 2 yrs time served and another with no recruiting contact for a year seems sufficient

He's a top coach in the 2nd most corrupt coaching league in college athletics. All of the kids get money now. Time to move on and let the man coach.
