Guess I'll have to take Lous word on this horse shite nostalgia since very few of us were there to see football players living alongside the Stegosaurus.
Apparently this quote is from a 2020 event at Liberty College with Lou speaking to Jerry Falwell so that means he's talking about 1970ish? At the time the SEC had been integrated for only 4 years ...

I'd imagine Rights and privileges were still relevant and frequent topics, there just wasn't as much money in the game as there is today.
