1. Cow (texas joining in 2025).
2. Pig. Arkansas
3. Chicken. South Carolina
4 Alligator. Florida
5. Shark. Ole Miss

Dog is delicious if prepared properly. So add in TAMU, Miss St, and UGA to the list. Elephant is definitely edible so add Bama. Bear is very good so ole miss gets added
Tennessee, Okio U, and Vandy have human mascots and LSU/Auburn/Mizzou all have tigers.
Who am I forgetting? Kentucky. Pass, no one eats cats outside of extreme situations.

Our mascot is still the shark(IIRC)....which is also very delicious. I've grilled mako a few times and it's a great fish.
