one could say Bama does not beat Texas if Colt McCoy was not injuried

How do we know this to be true?

We don't.

We do know what happened when Bama had Williams and Metchie against Georgia.

If Scarborough doesn't break his leg in the NCG, Bama likely goes back to back in 15-16.

Let's not forget the injuries to Diggs, Buggs, Allen, Lewis or Miller in the 2nd NCG loss to Clemson. Those were big defensive players that missed the game.

2019 was wrecked by injuries before the season started and got worse from there.

Injuries probably cost Alabama 3 titles and maybe even a 4th.

Yeah, I contend that our whole game plan was for mccoy, and he was knocked out early. Good teams always play best in their first or second quarter. It's about who can play well for 4.

I think we would have destroyed them either way.
