A woman was fatally shot early Sunday on the Strip in Tuscaloosa.
Authorities have not released her name, but said she was 23 years old.
Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit Capt. Jack Kennedy said the shooting happened about 1:45 a.m.
The victim was in a vehicle in the area of Grace Street and University Boulevard when the gunfire erupted. The driver continued along University Boulevard until finding a University of Alabama police officer to help.
Kennedy said investigators have located multiple witnesses and possible suspects are in custody.

Damm, kid threw life away. Don’t carry a gun then you can’t use it. Breaks my heart to hear kid tell whoever that was love you crying eyes out. But he did kill some innocent female. Damm sad story in so many ways.
