Supposedly had a mental breakdown earlier in the year. The ankle injury story was mostly an attempt to protect some privacy dealing with his personal life.

Awful situation.

No sympathy here. If he loved them, he wouldn’t have done something so incredibly stupid and foolish and brought them and others unbearable pain

Yeah,I thought I remembered seeing a story that he was taking time away from the team due to some mental issues. This story is disturbing.

It is serious. Alabama seriously messed up in trying to whitewash this kid’s mental health issues and now a girl is dead because of their inaction.

Oats won’t have a job in February.

Nope. Right by the stadium. Incredibly dangerous after home football games

No idea what the circumstances were that led to this. Only thing I’m aware of is that he left the team briefly for personal reasons in December, and recently rejoined the team, but also announced he’d miss the remainder of the season. The announcement said that was due to an ankle injury (which he legitimately reaggravated), but that was mostly to afford him some privacy in dealing with his mental health issues.

Any of you saying this is an indictment on the entirety of the Alabama program are truly awful human beings.

Socialists actually, since individual choices apparently don’t matter and reflect the whole.

If true, he’s a scumbag who should rot for the rest of his life. But why the frick does the whole program take the blame?

I'm wondering if it was intentional and targeted or if it was a bystander situation. I guess if it's capital murder they feel pretty strongly it was completely intentional. What a shame all around.

You've never blamed UF for Aaron Hernandez?

I’m unfamiliar with the laws surrounding capital murder in Alabama. Hard to fathom it being a targeted attack. Beyond crazy if true.
