Overall, the players aren’t “obligated” to give the fans attention, but there is supposed to be a bond between “student athletes” and the students/community. And that’s what a parade is for.

Athletes wouldn't have jobs if fans didn't exist to support them, so yeah maybe they should show a little fricking respect every once in awhile.
