Huh. I have seen someone on the Bama board claim that people in Hammond don't really have a high opinion of Golding(not just because he was Bama's DC) but that comment makes it seem like Saban wronged him or something. Or maybe it is supposed to be read as Golding fricked up, but good for him for landing another DC job at an SEC school? idk

The rumor has to do with his family situation, specifically the marriage, and possibly his wife and kids being back in Mississippi (specifically near Oxford) after being in Tuscaloosa with him for the entire tenure so far, and that this both made sense professionally but also personally.
