Great semi's. Isee only TCU as a mistake, but their hands were pretty much tied on thta one. Probably should have gone with:

1 Georgia
2. Michigan
3. OSU
4. TCU
They wanted to avoid a matchup between Michigan/OSU and it backfired. Hopefully they learned not to artificially manipulate the matchups.

They list part of their responsibilities as avoiding rematches - which applies to playoffs too.

You are absolutely right! The truth is there is SEC fatigue, it is obvious against Bama and trust me if GA keeps winning, they will turn on GA too. There is no way in hades they wanted 2 SEC schools in NCG, whoever the opponent would have been against GA, TN, AL, etc.
They would have loved to have had proved that they don’t “favor “ SEC by an all Big 10 NCG. Even with all their help, the committee couldn’t keep the SEC from claiming another title.
