They’re so much better than everyone else. Not even close.

Meh UConn and Gonzaga handled us pretty well. We’re good enough to win a NC but that’s very difficult to do in basketball

Uconn beat us pretty good. We gotta beat the elite. We beat no 1 UNC and Houston pretty good but can't slip up against a Vandy or A&M.

I'm tempted to say 2023 Bama = 2022 Auburn, but I don't think it's entirely accurate.
I do believe they both were/are really talented teams and both probably had/have the most talented freshman player in the country.
But I don't think Bama fizzles away like Auburn did, because they actually have a coach instead of a con man who just buys players.
But still, Bama is not a NC program. They're going to go get a really high seed and they're going to win until they run into a basketball blue blood. They're going to give all hell to whoever it is, but they're going to succumb, probably in the Sweet 16, maybe Elite 8, no further than that though.

If they don't Saban needs to hang it up. The game will have passed him by if we win another Natty in another rebuilding year while they have the most talent in CFB.

Alabama should be embarrassed this year, honestly.

The BasketVols may have something to say about that. UT has the #1 defense in the country. Think Bama has one of the top offenses in the country. Can’t wait for February 15th @ TBA.

They’ve got guys who can go get a bucket.

Several shooters and an elite lottery pick in Miller.

Good size, good defense.

Up 2 at about 4 minutes last night and hit 3 straight threes.

Elite shooting solves a lot of late game situations.

It's still way early and tourney is all about the right matchups but they are definitely legit.

Actually I think it is a strong possibility. We will be very good, but Saban will be on a mission and their players have learned they cannot take anyone lightly.

Barring a catastrophic injury they probably should win.

Bama has a shite ton of talent. The defense is playing awesome. The offense was clutch last night when it looked like Arky was making a comeback.

Basketball is such a crapshoot once the tourney starts, but they’d be in the contender category. I think it’s too early to give any of this serious consideration though.
