How does Stetson not have a college degree yet?

He has been in college 5.5 years (and likely started a summer semester early as most football players do) and has not graduated. Apparently, he is slated to graduate with an economics degree in May, which I would assume he won’t do because he’s going to go train for the draft.

Why would he train for the draft? He’s not going to the combine or anything. It’s not like he is going to impress anyone at a pro day. You can’t train to grow 4 inches, develop an NFL arm or become enough of an athlete to make up for being short with an average arm in a couple months. He just wasn’t born with a future in the game.

I do know that spending a year in juco messed it up a little, zero of those credits transfer to UGA.

How much do practice squad NFL QB's make? Google says minimum $207k a year. Probably not what he's making from NIL right now, but not a bad living. He won't be treated like a prima donna though, he'll be beaten to shite.
But who knows. This guy has made a career of proving people wrong. I wouldn't bet against him at this point.

Don’t knock it if you haven’t tried it.
One of my children went on the six year plan. At the end of 6 she got married and moved to Honolulu . Only 2 1/2 years would transfer. Went 1 1/2 and got her degree. She has a good job is still married and her husband is retiring with 25 years. So for her the 6 year plan worked out.
Stetson will be ok.
