2 piles of shite, both much closer in quality than the final records would lead a simple mind to believe.
The difference was uga barely beating weak teams and bama
Barely losing to better teams.
Wake me up when Georgia fans don't need to stretch things this far to pretend their coach has accomplished more than he has.
As it is, you're a fricking idiot.

Well. Signing day was February 2016 for Kirby. His first real class as a head coach was 2016.
His first real class with a year to recruit the full cycle was 2017. Sure.
You make up more crap. Your definition of "real" suits Bama fans and their 99 national championships.

Is this trying to suggest that this wasn’t Kirby’s very first head coaching job.

You appear to have an inability to understand football on any level beyond the simplicity of a final record.
In reality, a knowledgeable football fan understands the difference between 6-6 and 9-3 can be razor thin, as it is in the instance of both teams.

Kirby has obviously been phenomenal and you’d have to be delusional not to acknowledge it’s comparable to what Saban did at Bama in those early years. Maybe not quite as good but it’s comparable.
Whether or not he can keep it doing it to the extent Saban did is another question.

So your argument is Georgia was the worst 10-3 team ever, and Alabama was the best 6-7 team ever?
Georgia had one of the best defenses in college football that year, it was only your offense that was shite. And that was mostly because Richt lost his fricking mind in the middle of the Alabama game. Not because the team was really bad.
Weren't you also claiming that the East and West were comparable?
I'm pretty sure you don't understand much of anything in this world, much less football.

What Kirby has done has been amazing. Of all the coaches schools have hired from Saban, Kirby is really the only one that has given them what they really wanted.
I see teams that remind me of Alabama.
It's too bad Georgia fans aren't content with what he's actually accomplished, which is plenty.

Lol.
"Content".
Look, you put some kind words to your post. I appreciate that.
But, frick man, even Alabama fans are never "content".
Fans, as a general rule, aren't the type of people to be "content".
And, most importantly, Kirby, himself, never appears to be content.
It's not just UGA fans looking to compare their success to the measuring stick that is Saban. It's a compliment. Be "content" with that.
Kirby will always be measured against Saban. The media will drive that narrative because of who Kirby is and who's "learning tree" he sat under.
Still, 20+ pages by the time this one ends...

The AP poll made that distinction for uga 2015 by not voting uga top 25. First time ever and perhaps still the only time.
I am simply arguing both teams sucked. Uga was just a few plays from 6-6, and bama was just a few plays from 9-3.

You are starting to sound like the bama version of the frustrated vol duo of smokeyone and Keller. Anyone arguing uga 2015 was good hasn’t a damn clue, but that’s the implication you are making.

Even our d stats were inflated by playing terrible o’s all year long.

Why is everything you post so cringe? I was talking about being content with reality, and you just... I don't even know.
I don't care if people compare things to Saban/Alabama. If you take things out of context and distort the truth in general, I'm going to point it out.

Stop. Georgia was 26th in the AP poll and 24th in the coaches. Acting like the AP poll got together as a collective and made some decision to make a statement about the strength of Georgia is just some bullshite narrative you are pulling out of your arse.
Again, over and over you demonstrate a fundamental lack of understanding in just about every fricking topic I've ever seen you post in. That's not even remotely how polls work.
You take events, claim it's this and that because in your ignorant mind you think it's plausible. A walking correlation doesn't equal causation example.

Why?
I'm pulling for Georgia to win. Just a little disappointed Georgia isn't playing Michigan because I wanted to watch Georgia beat the "Big10 challenge" the committee setup. But Michigan losing to TCU was equally as funny since both lost in the 1st round, so it's a wash.
But if you lose, I will make fun of you. Because this should be a blowout.
