For all the handwringing about attrition we’re gonna have 19 of 22 starters back

Tbf a lot of the handwringing stems from the fact we didn't have enough healthy players to participate in a bowl in 2021 and then didn't have enough healthy players to even qualify for a bowl in 2022.

Still feels a little early to pat ourselves on the back regarding the roster. We should know as well as anyone that this isn't just about assembling the 22 best starters you can find.

Ok but if any of those guys get hurt we now lack experienced depth and we will be right back where we are now.

This wouldn't be as much as an issue if Jimbo didn't want to run such a complicated offense that takes so much time for new guys to pick up. I worry that part of the reason we have yet to make an OC hire to this point is b/c he's to refusing to change it much if at all.

The defense at least will hopefully be better w/another year under Durkin as he doesn't seem to be doing anything too complicated and getting Demani back is big. Experience still matters when you get to your depth players though.
