CJ Stroud had 34 pass attempts.

Stetson Bennett had 34 pass attempts.

CJ Stroud had 23 completions.

Stetson Bennett had 23 completions.

But...

Stroud had 348 passing yards.

Stetson Bennett only had 124 passing yards.

Wait, hold on, this just in...

Correction.... there was a typo above.

Stetson Bennett had 398.

Is that a typo?

398 fricking yards? Not total offense, but just Stetson carving up Ohio State's defense through the air?

I need someone to fact-check me.

This isn't believable, this needs to be corroborated.

That's crazy, they were both 23-34. Stetson got a lot of yards on that Smith TD pass of 74 yards. He also improved his stats a lot on that last drive. Stetson was stone cold ice on that last drive, and that will probably get him a statue at the Butts Mehre building. I can't remember what Stetson's stats were at the half but they weren't that good. CJ had a more consistent game but of course ended up in the loss column. I was really impressed with his scrambling ability and ability to make good passes on the run. Stetson isn't always that effective when he's flushed out and that seems to be when he makes mistakes.

I would also like to add that an odd number of players from BOTH teams were falling/slipping on that turf all night.

Was definitely something going on there…

Stetson made some big boy throws too. That one in the last drive to Bowers that he had to side arm due to pressure was a thing of beauty.

We had a guy slip in coverage on a OSU touchdown. Bennett got his foot caught a bit on the INT.

I never saw what happened in coverage in the 74 yard pass by Stet. They said slip but never saw it. Of course the turf monster that bit KM.

With Falcons playing today..think they did something like add extra fill? Looked like a lot coming on closeups.

There was a heavy, dense fog out and humid. Surely that impacts.
