Houston has played for it in Basketball in the 1980s, so that won't change when they join the Big 12 next year

SLU and Missouri State have played in the World Series more recently since Mizzou last played in one.

But A&M did beat the living shite out of LSU with a coach Scott Woodward hired at A&M and who he wanted to hire again at LSU but ended up hiring a guy who can't beat the worst coach in the conference, even when said LSU coach is competing for a playoff spot.
