Lane is being a crybaby about it all, but how anybody can watch that game and say Ole Miss didn't get jobbed by the refs is beyond me.

The biggest was a questionable targeting call on a 2pt conversion at a critical part of the game. The Ole Miss player hit the facemask of the Texas tech player with his helmet, but it was mostly a clean hit. I get the why it was called the way it was, but it was weak sauce.
There was another targeting call on a punt return that was legit, but the refs missed a blindside block (and what I thought was a targeting call) on Texas tech on the exact same play. To be fair to the refs on that one, the hit by the Ole miss player was pretty egregious so it was easy to miss the other call. BUT on the flip side, you're doing a booth review, you should have disqualified the other player as well.
Finally, there was a blatant missed PI call on a 2 pt play late in the game. It would have gotten the rebs within 1 score. (Then they totally screwed up the onside kick and let Tech score a TD...)
Lane made a bunch of stupid calls in the first 1/2 that put Ole Miss in a hole, and the Ole Miss offense was a turnover machine the entire night. But as every football fan knows, there are key/critical points in the game where if a call goes the other way, the momentum of the entire game shifts. I felt this game had a lot of that going on last night.

Kiffin's best win this season was...Troy. Kiffin is an overrated media darling who now holds a 3 year record at OM of 23-13, including 8-5 this season with blowout losses to LSU, Arkansas and now Texas Tech.
And to publicly complain about a "racial slur" that "I didn't hear" is more than bush league.

My kid is playing in a high school invitational basketball tournament right now against most of the public schools in and around Dallas.
I asked him how it went last night and he said he had never been called the N word so many times by the opposing players, all African American. It is what it is . . . part of the sh$t talking vernacular. Kiffin is being intentionally obtuse and needlessly provocative as usual.
