So, why is the team already in Atlanta?

Saw where the team arrived in Atlanta yesterday.
IIRC, we just drive down to ATL the day of or day before when we play in the SECCG.
I know there were media availabilities that had to be filled yesterday and today, but why not just drive down for those and then go back to your own beds and practice facility? It’s only an hour away.
Does the CFP/bowl committee require us to stay in Atlanta as part of the game contract?

Likely. I assume both teams have to rest this like it's any other road neutral site experience. The team was in Pasedena/Orlando all week ahead of those semi games.
