First tell us the biggest FBS win of Nick Saban, Les Miles and Ed Orgeron before they became the HC at LSU.

How many of them had 18 years experience as a D1 head coach before they came to LSU?

Here's a question. Do you think their "year of experience" is why they won at LSU OR do you think it was the fact that they were finally at a school where they could finally field NFL talent in abundance?

For instance, Saban was just another coach at Mich St. who's claim to fame was beating Michigan maybe twice. Miles was at Okie St. and had beat Oklahoma a couple times. Orgeron had failed miserably at Ole Miss and finished on a good note as interim HC at USC. However, after shortly after becoming HC's at LSU, they looked like great coaches.

BK could never beat Saban and is criticized for not winning the "big" games. Yet, he's never fielded equal talent at ND as Saban has had at Bama. Hell, if I'm not mistaken, hasn't Kirby beat Saban only once? And wasn't that a game where Bama was without both of their starting WR's? BK takes the LSU job, then proceeds to beat Bama in his 1st year. Clearly Bama was still the more talented team this season, so that says something about his ability to coach.

UGA has always had talent and Kirby has 1 win against Saban. I get it, UGA is currently the king of the hill. But let's not act as if this is the norm OR has been sustained for a decade or so. Kirby is a good coach and UGA is definitely at the top right now. But unless you've constantly been at or near the top for at least a decade or so, it really doesn't mean much. UGA is about to enter Clemson territory, a program that came on and won a couple titles, had some very good years but now where are they? From 2000 - 2011 LSU and Florida battled for supremacy. UGA was getting crushed by UF basically every year and was a none factor. From 2011 to last year was basically Bama alone in the SEC. So basically, the last 22 years or so has been Bama, LSU, UF, wand Auburn sprinkled in that have held the banner for the SEC. UGA appears to have taken over but it's only been for 2 years. Check in around 2030 and let's see what Kirby has really accomplished.
