First time to Army-Navy.
My boy is a Firstie at WP, and we've kinda gotten hosed on going to football games in his 4 years there. Covid and all that.
Anybody else been to the game? Not really expecting good football, but looking forward to the spectacle and traditions.

That’s awesome! I’m sure you’re incredibly proud of your son.

This is a family-friendly forum, sir.
I've never been to Army-Navy, but I've gone to two games at Michie and really loved the campus and think a fall afternoon kickoff up there is in the running for most beautiful FBS environment. You should be very proud, and I hope you have a great time in Philadelphia.

I have a buddy that attended a few years back and said it was one of the best experiences of his life!
I hope you are eventually able to make it!

One of the greatest traditions in college football. Just to see the Midshipmen and Cadets march in is enough to give you goosebumps, even on TV. And the fact that each teams stands at attention while the other's alma mater is played and sung after the game is incredibly moving. I'm truly envious. I've heard that going to a home game at West Point in August with the fall foliage behind the stadium is another bucket list experience. It's certainly on my list. Best of luck to your son on his Army career, but this Pensacola native has to end with...GO NAVY.

Probably the thing I am looking forward to the most. He's CO of his outfit, which means I get to hear his name and hometown when they march by.

8 years Navy service. Best times of my life. Took a medical discharge, worked 27 years as a state employee. In my case, join the Navy and see the world was accurate. So yet again…
GO NAVY! BEAT ARMY!

It’s a fun time. Been to 5 games. Last was in 2016 when we broke the 12 game losing streak. My only time storming the field after a game

This should be on everyone’s bucket list. It’s America’s finest on display. Record’s don’t matter. Patriotism at its best. Anchor’s Aweigh!
