Nah. Just a bad scheme and a still very young player. He was playing himself out of a lot of runs last night. aggy schemed well and took advantage of achene's speed on the edge.

I enjoyed watching him get absolutely rag dolled all game.
LSU fans will say we had some “perfect strategy” to stop him. No, we ran right at his arse all game. We picked him up on the blitz. Not complicated. We didn’t make some special game plan around him.
He’s not a complete linebacker at this point in his career, he’s just a very athletic edge rusher with 1 move. He will be very good in the future if he continues to round out his game but he can be shut down.

No. Achane is stupid fast. Perkins would almost always be faster but not against Achane.

Lets see, he could be on a team that won the SEC west and playing for the SEC championship this week or on a team that isn't even bowl eligible.
Yes we got dominated yesterday and it is disappointing, but we still had a good year and way overachieved. Can't say the same for aTm.

Looking forward to see how Perkins performs this coming Saturday against another solid, but unheralded back, Kenny Macintosh for UGA. Nothing special, but his entire game is solid this year. I doubt he will be intimidated at all. Pass pro is light years better than previous years.

Perkins is elite at burning opposing teams apparel. Tackling their running backs? Not so much.
