It was a missed call, but not gamechanging.

Refs get too much blame from all of us. It's hard to believe how they miss so many blatant calls at times, especially in the era of instant replay.

But, they made the call based on real time play, the viewing angles they had, the ball turning from near parrallel to nose down as it passed the PR's hand, and the immediate reactions of the players directly in front of the punt returner. Replay is also limited to the views they have. And, no view they had could overturn the onfield call. Similar to the LSU tip pass vs Bama.

Had the onfield calls gone the other way, they would have stood, as well.

It wasn't gamechanging. But, did prove a missed call after other angles came out.

That said, anything that makes White melt is worth it.

Most of the Barn male fan base is the boys that got picked on in school and has a "us against the world" mentality. So they are a delusional bunch ready to melt quite easily. I wished I had heard Stan White. Would have been gold.

I watched the game with my auburn friend. He wasn’t that tore up about it, the camera angles weren’t great. Play would have stood if they said it didn’t touch him

I still think his pinky moved. I think they got it right.
