Can we get Bryce to come back for a big NIL deal? The Texans could ruin his career

The current NFL rookie pay structure limits rookies to less than 10 million per year. If we gave Bryce 10 million plus a LoL insurance policy would he come back? Having a real shot at a 2nd Heisman would be extremely lucrative for his future earnings.

No. Bonus money the night of the draft plus his contract would blow NIL away.

Naw. Sooner he gets started in the League, the sooner he gets that second contract

TLaw’s contract is only 37 million over 4 years including the signing bonus. Texas is rumored to be trying to talk Bijan into staying for 6-8 mil. 10 might get Bryce to stay. 15 mil plus a LoL policy would almost certainly keep him.

Maybe if it’s that kind of money

It would be a great investment by the University. With Bryce back next year we are capable of winning a championship. We make 170 million per year. Plus, it probably wouldn’t be hard to get 10 boosters to put up 1 mil each for Bryce to do a commercial for their businesses.

You’ve never talked to a wealthy person about spending a lot their own money before, have you?

It’s all about getting started and getting your 2nd contract in the NFL
So a big NIL deal probably wouldn’t have tooo much pull

If I'm Bryce and Bama offers me 8+ million to stay I'm coming back for one more year so I don't have to go play for the Texans. That roster is brutal. One of the worst I've seen ever. There are no good skill guys in free agency for them to add to help him either.

Just pull an elway or manning and refuse to play for them. Bo Jackson did the same thing.

I could see that being an option.
It’s not just that the texans are bad it’s also that free agency is lacking in skill this year.

If he returns, his draft stock will take a serious hit too (assuming BOB returns as OC of course).

He’s gone dude. No matter how many hypotheticals you come up with, he’s gone and Saban will likely advise him to go.
Stay another year and it’s all downside, no upside.

He's gone. He's not coming back. He has a degree and first round pick.

There’s zero chance he comes back.
After the combine, I don’t think Houston will select him number 1. What sucks for me is Bryce and Will will be selected by a team I do not like.

some teams are looking for measurables. And pocket passers are a staple in the NFL, even though they are moving towards mobile QB's. BY is not the mobile QB that is successful in the NFL right now and he has shown that he is not comfortable stepping up into the pocket because he can not see over the bigs in front of him. With that being said he is probably a top 3 pick and he needs to take the money and declare. The signing bonus alone could set him up for life.

College football is now NFL 2 ... If they are considered employees why even make them enroll in school? They are
now little more than over paid, spoiled mercenaries jumping from one team to another! Just a matter of who pays them more! This is the reason I stopped following college basketball and now no longer give a damn about college football!

This is honestly so unfair that Bill O'Brien can waste two years of his development then Bryce is forced to go the the team Bill O'Brien wasted... where he would struggle.
Seriously screw that guy

Sorry man, but I doubt he's coming back
He's prepping for the draft right now and I'm not even sure NIL money will even make him think about staying
