It would be cheaper for Oklahoma and Texas to leave for the SEC after this season than it would to pay Jimbo's buyout in full.

It’s gotta be rough to be an A&M fan. I can’t think of another example in sports where an organization has committed a blank check for this long and seen such little success. Everyone thought NIL would make it too easy for the rich to get richer but the #1 NIL program is complete dog shite. Looking at the SEC they are grouped with Vanderbilt, Kentucky, and USC. Mizzou who entered the SEC with them has achieved more in the conference.

Lots of smoke that A&M is negotiating a deal to hireJamarcus Russell as an Asst. HC to address some of the discipline issues in the program. Smart move, if true.
