Does anyone have an idea why Geriner is completely missing in action? I would have expected our #2 QB to get at least a few garbage time snaps yesterday.

Trust your coaches.

We no longer have any saboteurs

This has nothing to do with trusting coaches but there must be a reason why he's not getting any experience even with no risk of costing him his redshirt.

We need the wheels of RA

Running QBs are Saban’s kryptonite

Carnell talked about how raw but talented RA is in the post game presser and how he wants to breathe life and CONFIDENCE into him

Again, there is no risk of costing him his redshirt. Hell, he could have played all of the MSU game, the W KY game and the Iron Bowl without costing him his redshirt.

Just seems odd to me.

Far more risk to play him behind a line that can’t pass block…will get him injured, destroy confidence, or develop bad tendencies that will have to be coached out.

We do not have the luxury of playing our backup this year. Well, in essence, we are playing our 'backup' and he needs all the experience he can get. The game wasn't really out of hand until late yesterday and other than that, the opportunities have been few and far between this year (as opposed to some games under Gus where we would be up by 30 and still not play the second stringer).

I agree boro, particularly when you are up quite a bit vs Western Kentucky.

I guess its so we can hold onto the excuse "he is too green, he will be eaten alive"....until he joins the portal.
