Clay is a head coach. He isn’t coming to be a coordinator and esp not coming when he can’t call plays.

I would love Caddy on staff but I think he may have the itch. Go somewhere as a head coach and learn. If he can work his way up great.

I’m grateful for all he has done but we have put him in a position to strike while the iron is hot.

I'd like it but the new head coach gets to pick whoever he wants for his staff. Even if Carnell doesn't end up staying here I'm sure there are some smaller programs that are looking at what he's done and he's going to get a shot somewhere.
