What you baws got planned this weekend? Cooled down a bit here. Had to wear shoes with socks today. 
Bout to go clean my Primo out so I can smoke my first turkey next week. If I dont screw it up..
Wife is working tonight. Debating a cocktail..

Sounds like an opportunity for some bourbon. I’m dry brining a spatchcocked bird to smoke tomorrow myself.

I'm basically doing the reverse of you. Using a wet brine and cooking the bird whole. Since it's my first one I'm going to keep it simple. A lot of guys recommended that method though.
Gonna put him in the brine Tuesday night.

Started thinking about hunting deer - seems fun, i'll try it out.

EDIT: Oh - I forgot, I tried some Arab food today (I eat a lot of middle eastern food), and Sharwarmas. Would put them on the same tier as Gyros, but that's a hot take so i'm going to sit this out

Florida is treating me fine so far. Doing the Pre-drywall walk through on our house tomorrow. Hopefully it will pick up some speed from here

Was 47 here this morning. Pissed me off. Got up to 76 though.. Was a beautiful day. Looks like some clouds and occasional rain for the next week. Winter is here for you baw

About 18 months ago. I did not sign the contract on this new house until March. We were looking for a used house for a while but finally gave up on that nonsense. Hoping the new house will be ready and we can close sometime around March next year.
Florida homebuilding is slow as shite.

I mean, you got me there. Gotta run get the kids some dinner first. Just not cooking anything tonight. Smashed my big toe on the caster of my toolbox in the garage about a week ago and kill the nail. Sit down on the side of the bed yesterday and pulled it out with a pair of needle nose pliers. I never seen my wife's face get that white in 35 years.

Losing a toenail is no easy task. One of my floor hatches piston bracket went bad. So it closes freely. It’s where I keep my anchors. Has cost me two big toenails.
