Others more deserving get in. It is Tennessee’s fault for not beating Georgia. The committee always looks at conference champs first, which Tennessee is not one. There is a good chance of filling all slots that way, right now. The committee will then look to best matchups. Tennessee possibly has a 5% chance at most of sneaking in.

It’s possible to have a worse take but it would take some effort. If Georgia beats LSU, and Ohio State beats Michigan then Tennessee has about a 75% chance of getting in. The only other team with a good chance of getting in in that scenario is USC if they win out.
